Capture one styles7/21/2023 My pick amongst the film based B&W -styles that I have created because of how it handles light skin tones and pinks like lips. But this gives nicely soft look in case that is needed for the image.Ī B&W -style mimicking Kodak T-Max 400 B&W film. More of a study for me as I like some other looks more. For some reason this is a B&W look that looks good when all others don’t.Ī B&W -style mimicking Ilford Delta 3200 B&W film. More of a study for me as I like some other, less subtle, looks more. This gives lighter pinks and skins than the T-Max, so depending on your needs and vision this might be your preferred choice.Ī B&W -style mimicking Ilford FP 4 125 B&W film. Popular film, but for me more of a study as I like Kodak T-Max 400 more. Kodak Panchromatic Color Separation Film 2238Īnother movie/cinema film that seems to be very popular in photography use.Ī B&W -style mimicking Ilford HP5 Plus 400 B&W film. The DoubleA -style is more analogous look with less crispness and is practically more pleasing.Ī style based on the Eastman DoubleX cinema film having a look of certain development and with my preferences. The DoubleX was more of a study than useful look to me and was a base for the DoubleA -style. Low contrast B&W -style that is after a “certain” popular look when ever such is needed. It got an update to sharpness, clarity and grain. Suits for about everything, but especially people and portrait photography. This is my “bravura”, subtle and one could say “polite”, but with enough contrast, grain and “film look”. Medium contrast B&W -style that is based on my own vision. Classic ContrastĬontrasty B&W -style that is based on my own vision of how a contrasty B&W film should look. I have created B&W -styles mimicking existing B&W films, some that are conversions from my color-styles and some styles that are made after my vision and preference. Whatever, I do make these for myself, and share them freely here if anyone is interested. I haven’t seen such during these years, and kinda feel a bit lonely here. My hope from the beginning was that there would be a community that shares Capture One -styles they make. I don’t want to compete there as the money flow would probably be too little to me to bother. I understand that some people end up selling their presets/styles. I though reserve the right to publish well tested and good quality ones, if possible. Or if you want to share your styles, contact me and I can showcase them here. If you ever want to publish your photos with these styles, drop a link below. I hope these inspire you to make your own versions of these, use them as is, or even make your own from the scratch. At least I think these styles listed here now are all quite premium :-). I have done some so-so styles in the past, and hope to up the game. There of course might be color-problems I haven’t noticed or solved, but do correct them when possible. I am not claiming perfect styles, but I do test these styles extensively before publishing and they mostly suit to many kind of photos, not just some certain edited images. I do time to time explore new looks and add the resulting styles here. My hobby for a long time has been tuning these styles and learning new things from colors (and grays). In addition to these styles I own and use styles sold by The Archetype Process. This post also includes some styles that I haven’t published in separate posts. This list is actually of the ones I have actively in my Custom Styles so I do use them and as such I am constantly updating the styles when the need or cause arises. Get to the download by clicking the name of the style. Here are my picks of the styles I have created for Capture One.
